Remember Vertical Horizon? I do, I do!!

Last night while i was driving home, the car's mp3 played a old school song on my mp3 list.

Guess what? It was Vertical Horizon's Everything you want.

So the song played and I didn't bother to switch to a new song. Eventually, towards the end of the song, something struck me.

"I am everything you want, I am everything you need. I am everything inside of you that you wish you could be. I say all the right things at exactly the right time. But I mean nothing to you and I don't know why."

Memories of the author of May 10,2008 Sheila Gaw was the first come to my mind. The lyrics best describes what I felt on the aftermath of the said date.

Bitter? Nope. Why should I? In fact, I'm about to rip the girl who nearly ruined my life.

"I say all the right things at exactly the right time but I mean nothing to you and I don't know why." Wow, what a statement. These powerful lyrics struck me, reminiscing all the memories we'd had and all the things I've done for her. Now i only realized, I wasted one year of my life on that girl. I wasted all the time and money spent on her just to make her happy and in return, he rejected me and went on to have a boyfriend who is also a CKSC alumni, an obese overweighted maniac bastard. If only you could see the picture, you might agree with me with this slogan, "Are you freaking kidding me?!".

Insecure? Why should I? I've found the girl who is way too better than that girl. I'm even happier and contented than the time I courted Sheila. Why should I see myself with that animal when everybody knows that I'm way too better than that mammal?

Yes Chiang Kai Shet alumni's, i'm ripping your fellow alumni. I can't believe that even a tiny piece of shit can take the girl I've previously adored. Move on? Yes I have but mocking her and his cute bayani Agbayani lookalike is fun. Before, you ruined my life. Now, it's my turn. Let the whole world know what kind of mammal you picked to replace me.

I believe in slogan, "Truth hurts". I'm not sarcastic nor plain bitter but it's just the truth. Come on, I even dare the guy to place a poll which of us is better. I even bet my whole life on it. If he thinks he's way to better than me, then mahiya ka naman sa pinagsasabi mo. Probably, financially yes but physically, no way bro. Eat your heart out.

Like I've said before. Redemption. Masamang gisingin ang fighting spirit ni Michael Kent. The Michael Kent project is nearly finished. On May 2010, you'll witness a better Michael Kent than the one you known before. Again, I'll let you say the words, "eto ba si Michael na binasted ko? Ang tanga ko naman".

I'm open to suggestions and reactions. Again, if you dare.

Puerto Princesa Experience Day One

Finally, the boys have invaded Palawan.

After pushed back from November 2009 to January 2010, there's no stopping the boys from conquering Palawan. Staying for 3 days and 2 nights, i can say that Palawan is one of the most beautiful and relaxing tourist destinations of the Philippines. Their beach was simply awesome and their Underground river, which is being considered as one of the seven wonders of the world, lived up to its hype.

Here's our iterinary during our 3 days stay:

Day one: City Tour

After arriving in Puerto Princesa almost noon, we decided to have City Tour as our first adventure. Here, we went to Binuatan Creations, Crocodile Farm, Mitra's Ranch and Ihawig Prison. Binuatan Creations shows you how natives creates a beautiful hand made bag from scratch. See how these people run their creativity and see their finished products.

Next stop, Crocodile Farm. Here, we witness live crocodiles and see how their place looks like. It's fascinating to see crocodiles since I never saw one except in movies. Also, have your pictures taken while holding a baby crocodile, with a small fee of course. But what the heck? Pay the man and have the pictures taken. It's not everyday you get a chance to hold a crocodile and have your pictures taken, right? The tour also includes Nature farm, a small type Manila-zoo like that includes all wildlife such as birds, ostrich, etc.

Next was Ihawig Prison. This part for me was boring since it was only a place where inmates creates stuff and sells them. This is part of their fund raiser for the inmates since the place was nothing spectacular.

Lastly, my favorite time, snack time. We had our snack at Mitra's Ranch. Here, we discovered Baker's Hill where based from our tourist guide, creates the best hopia. I didn't buy one since I grew up in Binondo and I've been eating Hopia my entire life. :) Bakers Field is the best place to have your pictures taken because it has beautiful landscapes. Also, have your pictures taken with Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, etc.

After the city tour, the boys went to spend their night spot at Kinabuch, a Gerry's-grill type like bar in Palawan. Kinabuch was one of the most famous night spot at Palawan. The food are similar with Gerry's. Filipino food but their way of cooking is not that satisfying. But if there's one thing that each tourist must try here at Kinabuch, try their Smokers Delight. A shot that surely you'll ask for more.

NBA Slam Dunk Contest 2010: Simply Pathetic

You've got go be kidding me..

This is the perfect metaphor after witnessing the most boring Slam dunk competition of all time in NBA history. In a field composed of Shannon Bronwn, Gerald Wallace, Demar Derozan and Nate Robinson, I expect more acrobatic high-flying dunks since these are athletic high leaper player in the NBA.

Then came gametime. Wow.

"Let's go Home", a slogan which players or even broadcasters such as Charles Barkley usually says when witnessing an impressive dunk, but for last night, the slogan was used literally because the competition was boring as hell.

Shannon Brown and Gerald Wallace completed dunks that even D-leaguers or amateur can do. Demar Derozan was impressing the judges with his acrobatic dunks in the first round but fell short in the end. Nate Robinson was still the same 5'9 guard but this time, fell short of wowing the crowd with his dunks.

Of all the dunks, I find Derozan's first round second dunk amazing. He got a perfect score while Nate Robinson's finals dunk was also impressive. The rest? Awful.

This marks the first time I lost interest watching NBA slam dunk competition. Before, the hype was amazing. People would expect these players to electrify the crowd. This time around, i'm pretty sure there's some people who fell asleep due to their poor performance.

Probably, the blame goes to Lebron James for not competing. After all, he declared he would compete this year only to have his ego backout.

So next year, I'm not looking forward for this competition. Unless we see Chris Paul join this event, then I might be forced to watch.
